First of all I would like to thank you for your interest in Christian Fellowship Church! I hope you will enjoy your visit at our website. My name is Richie Franklin and the Lord has allowed me the honor of being the senior pastor for some of the greatest people I have ever known; right here at Christian Fellowship Church.
My parent's were Church of God (Cleveland, TN) - Evangelists and Pastors. I was saved at the age of 7 and felt the call to preach at age 11. I began serving the churches my parents pastored as janitor,choir member,musician,Sunday school teacher and choir director. After graduating from high school, I attended Lee College(Church of God - Cleveland,TN), Belmont Abbey College (Catholic - Belmont,NC) and Atlantic Christian College (Disciples of Christ - Wilson,NC) I received a bachelor of arts degree in religion from Atlantic Christian College (now known as Barton College).
I began my full-time ministry as an evangelist in
the Church of God ministering in churches and
youth camps in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, and West Virginia. I
took my first pastorate in Colbert, GA with the Congregational Holiness Church (Griffin, GA). I am ordained through the Congregational Holiness Church.I have been a pastor since 1991.
Although my basic beliefs tend to fall in line with what is known as Pentecostal or Full-gospel, Christian Fellowship Church is an independent, Non-Denominational group of believers who come from various denominational backgrounds. It is truly beautiful to witness the unity and diversity of this fellowship. |
