Our Mission& Vision
The mission of Christian fellowship Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.
Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastors Jody and Tamela Cagle, Senior Pastor
At the Age of 16, Pastor Jody answered the call tp preach and has been ministering the gospel for the past 20 years. He has extensive ministerial experience and has served in the roles of pastor, assistant pastor, and youth pastor. Pastor Jody attended Word Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1996 with an emphasis in pastoral studies. He then served on staff at World Harvest church for 4 years and traveled across the united states with Pastor Rod Parsley for two years.
Tamela has been involved in ministry her entire life and has traveled with her father Dale Begley, who has been in ministry for over 35 years. Tamela attended World Harvest Bible college in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in 1998 with an emphasis in music. She has served on staff at World Harvest Church and has been a member of the World Harvest Church Choir. In addition Tamela has lead praise and worship for 10 years. Currently Tamela is pursuing her RN at Georgia Highlands.
Tamela and Jody reside in Cartersville Ga, and have two children, Hayden and Ashton.
Pastors Ted and Whitney Bailey, Youth Pastors
Ted Bailey is the youth pastor at Christian Fellowship Church. He and his wife Whitney have been working with teenagers for over 10 years. Ted graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2006 with a degree in pastoral studies and in 2009, graduated from Kennesaw state University, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business administration.
Whitney has served as the Drama director in our youth ministry and has also worked in the Bartow county school system as a high school teacher. Whitney has a Bachelors in Communication, a bachelors in education, and a Masters degree in Math Education.
Ted and Whitney have a desire, as youth pastors, to share God’s word in a relevant manner and see students lives impacted by the Word of God. Out of that comes the desire to fulfill the 5 biblical purposes in youth ministry. The five biblical purposes include: evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, & worship.
Ted and Whitney reside in White Ga, and have two Children; Zoe and Brock Bailey.
Worship & Music Pastor
Dwight Motes began singing and playing musical instruments in church at an early age. When he was only five, he recorded his first album with the family’s gospel group, The Motes Brothers, and continued traveling for nearly twenty years, singing lead vocals and playing the bass and drums. Throughout their career, Dwight and his brothers recorded seven albums and frequently shared the stage with gospel legends The Nelons, The Rambos, and Eva Mae Lefevre. Dwight has also worked with artists such as Babbie Mason and Ricardo Sanchez.
Dwight has worked with many churches during the past 20 years directing, singing and playing instruments. In 1989 Dwight started attending the Cartersville Church of God and serving in various areas of the music department.
From 1996 to 2008, Dwight was a part of Trinity Chapel Church of God in Powder Springs, Georgia. Dwight served in a number of roles from Youth Worship leader to Director of Musicians and Orchestra while at Trinity Chapel. For the last three years, Dwight has successfully served as Minister of Music at Crosspointe Christian Center in Dalton, Georgia.
Dwight is married to Heather and they live in Acworth with their son Clark.
